Our farm

The Ca’ di Voi farm is located in the municipalities of Calizzano and Murialdo, in the upper Bormida Valley. In this picturesque setting nestled among the mountains at an elevation of about 750 meters above sea level, we grow chestnuts and sweet chestnuts, vegetables and root vegetables, fresh fruit—especially heirloom varieties —and berries. All of this is done without the use of chemical fertilizers or herbicides.

We use our high-quality raw materials to produce extra-grade jams and marmalades containing more than 55% fresh fruit, and we use freshly harvested vegetables to make vegetable purees, pickles, and mixed pickles. For several years now, thanks to our cultivation of blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries, we have also been producing juices and syrups containing more than 50% fruit. All our products are available for purchase directly at our farm, online on our website, and at specialty stores in the area.

Produce from the garden

Our vegetable and root crops are grown in well-drained, sun-drenched clay soil, both in open fields and in greenhouses equipped with water-efficient irrigation systems, using cultivation techniques that are always environmentally friendly and sustainable.
To achieve this high level of quality, nearly all of the work—from planting to harvesting and subsequent processing—is done by hand by our family and staff.

Chestnut products

The chestnut, which has always been an essential crop in our region, has sustained entire generations thanks to its versatility. The Gabiana variety, in particular, is still used today—either fresh or dried in traditional stone drying rooms (“tecci”) over chestnut wood smoke for four weeks, as tradition dictates—to make flour for bread and pasta, as well as jams and cookies. The chestnut dried in the tecci of Calizzano and Murialdo is a Slow Food product.

Premium jams and marmalades

Hand-picked at the peak of natural ripeness, our fruit is processed in our workshop to create high-quality extra-grade jams and preserves, where you can still taste the aroma of freshly picked raspberries or the velvety texture of peaches, with only cane sugar added—no pectin or other thickeners.

Fruit juices and syrups

Our artisanal juices and syrups are made from a selection of ripe, fragrant fruit, prepared in small batches to preserve their flavor, color, and natural properties. We use only seasonal ingredients, harvested at the peak of ripeness and processed quickly to keep their aromas and freshness intact.
